Better than expected

The Benjamin Marauder air rifle can be tuned. You can adjust the trigger and the rifles velocities for different fill pressures.

Better than expected

Finally finished tuning my .22 synrod. I'm the guy who posted FIRST STRING AFTER STALEY MOD. Needless to say I had a lot of problems tuning my synrod, most of them were my fault. You guys are the only reason I was able to finish it and not give up. I can't thank everybody enough. Travis, I told you I would call for help, but I am one stubborn man and learn a lot from my many mistakes. My ultimate goal was to get at least 20 shots at about 30 foot pounds getting around a half inch group at 50 yards. I have yet to shoot at 50 yards, but if the 20 yard group is any indicator, I'll have no issue at all. So, without boring you guys anymore, here is my final results that I have duplicated many times on my chrony.
1. 871
2. 884
3. 881
4. 882
5. 881
6. 891
7. 879
8. 886
9. 887
10. 884
11. 884
12. 876
13. 884
14. 884
15. 878
16. 875
17. 871
18. 872
19. 875
20. 870
That string averages 880fps and with my 21.1 grain barracudas is an average of 36 foot pounds. I took out the bstaley mod and left the WAR 10lb hammer spring in. I couldn't be more happy with these results and I am so glad it is finally finished so I can stop putting pellets into my pellet trap and into innocent delicious woodland creatures.

I forgot to mention that I started out with a 2600 psi fill and ended at a shade above 2000 psi. That means from the factory setting, I'm getting the same 20 accurate shots (more accurate) using less air. I'm one happy man right now :-)

I'm from Europe but not from England but from Bosnia and Herzegovina, I imported them from Croatia, because in my country nobody imports Marauders or any other PCP, only Hatsan AT 44 is available...

StefanMD,

Your use of m8, is not common in the US, but quite common in England. I was raised in Liverpool.

I have spent time in Bosnia and Serbia with the US forces. I am retired US military.
