Odd Settings Due to Stroke "Drifting"

The Benjamin Marauder air rifle can be tuned. You can adjust the trigger and the rifles velocities for different fill pressures.

Lou, Absolutely, there's nothing wrong with those settings. As long as you can achieve the results needed (accuracy, distance, fpe and/or shots per fill) then it's all good. In fact, It's always best to have the least amount of spring pre-load possible, this increases the overall spring life (longevity). See with a 7.9 it's easier to achieve the velocity and distance with relatively conservative settings. Go for broke with a 16.1, like I am, and your having to be a lot more aggressive; HS 4, ST .5, VP 5.5 @ 2700 psi = 910. Cheers. Steve

ps. Thanks for signing your last post, it's always nice to have first names :)

Steve, thanks again for your advice on this excellent rifle. Your settings certainly are aggressive with that heavy pellet. Are you primarily hunting? Your group size with those Eun Jins are amazing.

Lou, I'm punching paper and hunting with the Eunjins. If you haven't tried them yet, put them on your wish list. :) Steve
