Gen2 .25 Bottle-mod

Hey folks, first post here. Just won a Gen2 .25 on the GTA raffle and am thinking about bottling it. I have a few questions: 1. Are the JDS adaptor and regged bottles good to use? 2. Are the stock internals ok or should i look at Hill or WAR parts? 3. I'm no machinist so can the mods be done fairly easily? Lastly, any idea on cost to do this? Thanks for any input, Bill

The nice thing is you don't have to do everything at once.

I would just learn to adjust the gun as it is first, then see what you need or want to do to achieve your goals.

Also, if you don't like it, you can sell it if you leave it stock and buy what you really want.

Putting money into a gun rarely ever comes back out when you go to sell it.

I have two 25 M-rods and they are my favorites - mainly because they are so accurate, but also powerful. I have never once felt the itch to put a bottle on any of my PCPs. You can look in my signature and it is possible to tune these Marauders for high shot count per fill. I'm getting 40 shots per 3100 psi fill within 4% in my 35 FPE 25 right now and that is with the stock air tube in a Gen I rifle which has a slightly smaller airtube than the Gen II has.

You really should just try it as you get it for a while then decide how you wish it were different.

If you want to go very high power, the WAR valve is the current best way to go.

If you also want high shot count, you may want to add a bottle and PakProtector's kit seems to be popular.
