Prairie doggin' with my PCP's

Prairie dog season started here in Northern Arizona June 16th. I've been getting out as often as possible. I love hunting these guys with my airguns. The longest kill so far this year is 101 yards, made with my FX 2000, shooting from a Stoney Point telescoping bipod. The guns in these pictures are all .22's except the Logun MK II, and she's a .20 cal.

I am painfully jealous of your Monsoon! If it shoots as well as it looks, you'd be able to shoot the smile off a fly. And Semi-auto is just too good to be true.

It is very challenging and fun. I try and go as often as I can. They may just be the perfect airgun hunting target. It gives me something to hunt until Fall tree squirrel season opens.

It's an amazing rifle. Accuracy wise, mine shoots right along with the best of my bolt, or side lever guns. It's a blast to shoot just for the fun of it, but it's also a great hunting rifle. Followup shots are instantaneous. It's a mound full of young ground squirrels, worst nightmare.
