Let me first say this.
I do not agree as well as other life long hunters with what you did. If it is a need or want to feed ones family or self is one thing . Just to be able to take or harvest an animal because it is something new and then have the balls to post it on an open forum you give all us airgunners a real bad name. Look man in slaughter houses small calibers take the life right out of hogs and cattle before butchered. You can kill with about any size cal or weapon. Your shot placement was yes right on the mark where you hit this deer. You aren't too smart to do what you did unless you and your family were starveing to death...

I do not agree with you Dave, but it's your right to have your own opinion.
I think rbolton6 just showed all of us what can be done with Mrod, and it's a good graphic expression that it's not a toy.
If you're a hunter, do you hunt ONLY because you're starving? I don't think so.
Knocking down one deer is not a harvest. You never killed a deer?!
If you feel insulted by those pictures, avoid the topic, simple as that.
Hunting in general is not as it use to be back in history. Now it's a sport, a passion, keeping a wildlife balance, which is already fu**** up by humans (not hunters).
I'm a hunter and in my country it is forbidden to use airguns for hunting, same as crossbows. I'm so envious because you guys can do whatever you want over there in the US :x
Anyway, to make long story short, hunting topic has pictures that you don't like to see, so don't click on it 8-)

Good job rbolton6, you've knocked down a deer, now we're waiting for some wild boars

Cheers,
d.

Abig bore airgun for Large game such as a crossbow in which I have harvested my fair share of deer as well as muzzloader and archery. Not a small cal air or PcP small cal. I love my M-rod in both cals but not to kill a deer with it just to have braging rights. That is as dumb as a box of rocks as you seem to be sir!!!!!!!

Look, I'm not here to fight with such a primitive guy as you are, don't want to step down to your level.
Why don't you just admit that you're jealous?
Oh yes, and get a dictionary or use a spell check, Einstein

Come on guys, this is exactly the stuff we don't need here, the internet is already full of forums where insults are commonplace. I'm not taking sides here and I know your both entitled to your opinions, but please, let's just keep it civil. Otherwise, we'll just close this thread down :( . Thanks. Steve

My starving family needing feeding again so I went ahead and took this 51 yard shot.
Very unethical and I really just want to have bragging rights here :)

I am sure many will be offended and oppose the killing of this magnificent big game animal with such an inept weapon,
but I gotta keep them babies fed.
