Well Done, Were you hunting them with a rimfire prior to having the air rifle for this year?

I haven't been hunting them at all the last few years but yes when I did hunt them it was with a 22 or a 17 Mach 2. It is totally different hunting with this thing. They don't run if there are more than 1 around. I have 2 of these guns and took my nephew and I think he is hooked now. We saw a whole lot more but couldn't get good head shots so we didnt shoot them. I was not impressed with the 14.3 grain CPs even with head shots. I have ordered some heavier pellets and a single shot tray so I can shoot the predator poly tip. They won't fit in my clip.

Have you tried anything from JSB? They seem to have a softer lead that deforms nicely.

I have ordered some
JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy18.1 Grains. I had a sample pack that had some in it but haven't shot anything with them. There was not enough in the pack to sight in and then go hunt. Thanks for the info on the JSBs

Well the 18.1s did not group as well as I thought they would. The Kodiak 21.1 group really well for me. I have taken turtles at 60 and 70 yards. They also do well on rabbits and squirrels as long as you can get a good head shot. I'm pushing them at an average of about 770 and get about a 25 shot curve.

nice shooting. i too think that cp's are a little underpowered in this rifle. keep us posted on the kodiacs. i am thinking that these will be, like another member on here said, "the dog's balls". i was going to order the jsb 18.1's, but i am leaning toward the kodi's.
