I talked to Bushnell this morning, was told by customer service that the replacement they ordered for me will be shipped in mid October. !!!!! They received my scope june 2, they told me I could go to the simmons website and find something else, and they would probably substitute it. Guess I will go and look at what they have, this is not my idea of good customer service, I will update on what happens next.

The 6-21X44 side focus with mildots is my favorite, but don't know if they will have that one in stock.

Yes, this is very clumsey customer service - possibly due to the take-over by bushnell.

If they will let you substitute a bushnell scope, there are some very clear bushnells.

I looked through one SteveInLA bought and it was very nice. Maybe he can chime in the model he got.

It took Leapers 8 1/2 months to replace my 3-12 for the second time. They did give me the SWAT version cause they no longer made the base 3-12 any more. I ended up buying the compact 3-12 SWAT better retical and smaller size, still weighs a ton tho.

Well, they had the 6-21x44 in stock and said I will receive it this week, so we will see if its any better in clarity than the 6-24x44, I sure hope so, this has really been a hassle. Meanwhile I bought a Weaver Kaspa 6-18x44 from that guy on ebay who seemed to have a ton of them, and its really clear at 18x, but ballistic x, no mil dots. Going to do a side by side when the simmons gets here, with the kaspa, simmons, and my hawk 6-24x44

I received the 6-21x44 scope today from simmons. Have not mounted it on a rifle yet, but looking out my window at my 50yd target, it looks pretty darn good. at 21x I can see the detail of the edges of the pellet holes. This is a much sharper scope than the 6-24x44 I returned. I am going to put it on my shrouded disco this weekend and do some shooting. It took a couple of months, but in the end Bushnell agreed that my first 6-24x44 was not acceptable and replaced it with slightly different but much clearer scope.
