SCUBA to Marauder... Just connect and fill? or....

Postby ran007 on Tue Jan 18, 2011 8:35 am

Hey guys,
I have the SCUBA 80CF 3000psi tank and Benjamin Yoke in my hands... waiting. My question is, when I connect the gun and tank together, do I need to worry about too much air going into the gun when I open up that valve or does the pressure simply equalize? Any thoughts?

thanks!
Randall

If your sure that you have only 3000 psi on the tank then only 3000 psi can go it. in another words. just because the tank is larger in volume does not mean that it will put more pressure in your marauder. if you have 2500 psi left in your tank, then thats all that it will put into your marauder.

Hey Ran007, Just crack the SCUBA valve and fill slowly. As long as your certain your tank only has 3000 psi then you can't get into to much trouble. But don't assume anything. Watch either the output gauge on the Benji adapter or better yet watch the Mrod gauge to be sure your not overfilling. Have fun shooting. Steve
