Benjamin FAH003 Yoke Adapter & Genesis Scuba Valve - BEWARE

Well, just got a few moments from work to play with my new 80cf scuba tank. I found that when you put the Benjamin yoke fill station on top, that it will not fit because of a little protrusion in the Genesis valve. It prevents the yoke adapter to not seating all the way down. Sucks. Beware. Looks like I'll need to find a valve that fits this thing. =(

Thanks to my local scuba shop who sold me the tank/valve combo, they hooked me up with a new valve that works! I'm a little bummed as the only other type of valve they had wasn't K/DIN convertible - you know, for future connections... Either way, I'm happy as the Benjamin yoke adapter fits on the new valve. Lesson I didn't have to learn??? Always buy something like this from a reputable dealer, perhaps locally. It may cost you more, but it's worth it!

Okay, so I had about 30 minutes to mess around, so I hooked up the gun to the tank. Turn the valve slowly, and nice.... filled up in about 5 seconds to 2700psi. That Benjamin scuba yoke adapter is the real deal. I'm so happy I went that route instead of the hand pump. I'll keep the hose short too, even though it's a little pain. I think the shorter that hose, the less air you waste during bleed off.

I love happy endings. Now to dump about 2000 rounds through it this weekend at the range.
