Check out his 17 cubic ft carbon fiber "Guppy"

http://airtanksforsale.com/

I believe it's gonna be a little bit better than the paintball shop "rig" I had made up for me.

The wife already has my X-Mas list.....It has a "Guppy" and "Shoebox" compressor on it :D

I have a DIY guppy 16.16 cf at 4500 psi in a perfect world enough to fill:

Marauder 215cc 2800 psi - 1800 psi 11.8 times
Marauder .25 215cc 3000 psi - 1800 psi 8.7 times
AA S410 ERB 314cc 2800 psi - 2100 psi 12 times

Right now I cascade fill my pony from my 3 4500 cf tanks, but it is impossible to get it to 4500psi this way and it takes time. I am also on the list for a shoebox and I am excited to be able to top it off after each trip with the shoebox, then it will be ready to go for next time ;)

even if it takes 3 hours to refill my 16cf tank I won't care just let it run, I’m done shooting for the day anyway. ;)

Do not forget Sun Optics will have a compressor out soon. Their track record is not good and who knows if it will have the Benjamin
name on it?

Shoe box. I'm on the list, but wow, 24 hours to fill a 30 min tank. I think it would be useful only if you don have a tank or ur away from a place that could fill it.

Re: Tanks Info for Newbies, Just rec'd

Greetings:

I am new to the game so this post has been very helpful in figuring out the right equipment, at the right price. I went with the used CarbonFiber because of having a weight lifting issue. According to the 'fill calculators' on the net, I can get the same amount of 'charges' from the 44CF @ 4500 (Carbon-Fiber) that I could from a 100CF Steel Tank- for LOT less weight to heft back and forth for charging. (I would estimate I saved 10-15 lbs) And the used Carbon Fiber tanks were selling for the same price my local dive shop was selling 100cf Steel tanks for.

One thing to keep an eye on when purchasing used CarbonFiber tanks is both the last Hydrostat date AND the year of manufacture- Carbon Fiber has a finite life of 15 years TOTAL- then no one will fill them for you (according to the local dive shop)- throw them away I guess? :?

Last note- I just rec'd a CarbonFiber tank from 'twohsieh' that I saw advertised for sale in the Buy/Sell section. I Highly recommend the tank that twohsieh is selling- Cheap and has a 95% finish on the Tank and Valve assembly, Looked great! I think I need another one.... :D
