All Tanked Up..

Postby jimmyk » Fri Aug 09, 2013 4:14 pm

Here's my current battery of high pressure air. Started out with the 90CI Ninja, added a Airhog 18cuft(I think 18), Then was given/loaned the two 88cuft'ers. Got another Airhog tank and then acquired the 444 cuft 4500 steel tank. I usually use the small tanks for field trips and tethering, the 88's for shooting around the house and tuning and the 444....well, not sure just how I'm going to put it to work. I did refill my Ninja for tethering and filled my guns a couple of times off of it. I've got the two 88's plumbed together for cascading. The best part, no charge on filling the small bottles and the two 88's. I think $30 on the 444cuft if and when that happens.

Didn't know steel could go up to 4500 psi. In guessing it won't expire then unlike CF.

I'm pretty sure they also make 6000# steel air tanks. I know I've seen them with nitrogen use.

Yes the steel tanks come in 6000 psi, about 5ft tall and 350 lbs. Your going to need a strong backpack to carry in the field, but you wont run out of air. Pete.
