The Scope and goal of this section of the form is provide useful information 24/7 because I realize that most of us play with the toys on weekends when big companies and telephone support is not always available.

Normally if problems occur during this window you are SOL until the next business day (and your fun is over)

So if you are having problems check or search here to see if it is a known issue and what steps can be taken to resolve the issue.

If you ask questions on this forum, I can not guarantee Crosman support will see the post or reply to it, and you may need to give them a call at 800-724-7486 if you still need help or replacement parts.

Marauder barrel QC

I am wondering if Crosman has ever gotten back to anyone or replied on a forum regarding the .177 and .22 barrels. A lot of information including detailed choke, or lack of measurements, along with pictures of rifling ending short of the muzzle, bent barrels, and so on, has been posted on this and other forums. All I ever read is the standard "send the gun in for service" response. Has anyone heard of plans for a match grade or upgraded barrel or tightening up of barrel quality, or do you think it is just being dismissed?

No across all fronts from what i have read or heard in scuttlebutt.
They fix a problem when confronted with one ... then appear to go back to business as usual until need to address an issue arising again.

Great customer service after the sale but not too proactive in prevention of issues that plaque these rifles IMO.

One can only assume with all the barrel issues someone internal to Crosman has listened and made some reports to the powers in charge of those barrels being manufactured abroad

As to a MATCH grade barrel from the factory ( LW logical choice ) they do so for a few select pistol models already. Rifles in .177 & .22 cal never heard of it happening so far :!:
