JTB56, rebend the part that goes into the bottom hole, lets call that the anchor. Make the anchor longer so that it goes farther into it's bottom hole, and make sure the bend is back at a good 90 degrees after lengthening. A longer anchor should keep it in and stop it from slipping out.

davee1, thanks for the suggestion. I will try to bend the springs and see if that does the trick.
