Donk,

I hope they take care of you! the younger sounding man at PA I spoke with( Tim I think) didn't seem al that interested other than he would "get the word out" I gave him lot #'s he said thank you and I ended the call... I'm not going to beg for replacements.

I sorted all 8 tins, I ended up with one near full tin of footballs  the amount of lead shavings in the six "bad lot#" tins was horrid and all the pellets had to be washed several times to get it all off. I think the remaining 7 tins will shoot OK but who knows... as I said, I can't shoot at longer than 25yds for right now so I have no clue how these will perform past this distance.

good luck!

John

Family man,

The lot #'s are on page 2, I'd contact H&N directly.

I have received these responses from H&N:

Hello Mr Nichols,

Thank you for your message.

This lot is definitely not OK. Pyramyd will take it from the shelf.

I will figure out how we can send you replacement.

Could you provide me with your postal address?

Best regards

I sent my address and then this:

Dear Mr Nichols,

I talked to Pyramyd about this. They will send a replacement for the tins.

There is only one problem: After removing this bad lot from the shelves they will have no stock.

The next shipment will leave our premises soon but transport takes time (sea transport).

Therefore, I kindly ask for your patience.

I apologize for this inconvenience.

Best regards

I then asked H&N who would contact pyramid and what would they like me to do with the pellets I have:

John,

Thank you for your understanding. I will inform Pyramyd and forward them your address.

Keep the pellets - maybe they are still good for some (empty) beer cans at short range...

Best regards

Jörg

I am not going to celebrate yet. This is one of the photos I sent to PA and H&N. H&N says they will take care of it but I sure would like to hear from PA

Dunk,

I think BEST case we're looking at a 6 weeks before we get replacements. I sure would like to hear from PA as well... My initial phone call to PA was nearly pointless. I see Eric at PA sort of offered you a tin... I sure hope that's not the plan.

I would be good with 6 weeks if that were actually the case. Ive started looking for replacements to get me by. I picked the best 5 H&N pellets and the rest straight from the tin.

Mother of god that's TERRIABLE!!! 11 yards and what 3-4 inches... WOW! May I ask what your shooting them out of? I bought my 8 tins after testing showed my Benjamin 392 liked them best, I shot several 5 shot 1" groups at 25yds using the "good" lot tin. I also shot some from my P-rod and M-rod at 25 yds, these were 8 and 10 shot groups and were about 1/2 inch for the P-rod and dime size for the M-rod... my .22 M-rod would probably shoot a pebble well :D the P-rod will do better with JSB heavies but still the H&N were not bad. Now the bad pellets still shot fairly well at 25yds for me... not sure how they will do at longer ranges and this is what I would use them for! I normally use cheap crosman CPHP's out of my M-rod for up to 25yds, the JBS shoot better past that and are the only pellet that will shoot dime size or less out of my P-rod(that I have tried anyway).
