Dropped my Supermoto

Postby Metaldemon7 on Mon Mar 08, 2010 2:07 pm

I just got back from the hospital. I dropped my bike, right on my knee. Good thing I was only going about 15MPH. They think I broke my thumb, and maybe stress cracked one of the bones in my knee. ER just won't give you any answers. I have to go to another doctor tomorrow, so they can figure out what I did. The supermoto is good though. It slid on its sliders, and one handguard. My thigh hurts where I landed on my Taurus TCP. First nice day here that I didn't have to work, and look what happens. I'll be back on the bike in a week, or so.

Just got back from the doctor's office. He drain a lot of blood out of the knee. I have to go for an MIR tomorrow. He think something may be torn inside, or it may be just a cracked bone. I'm hoping for the cracked bone. The Marauder is great. I have only gotten the one squirrel so far. I have shot a lot of paper in the back yard. Just got my one shot tray, so I can try some longer, heavier pellets. Just right now I am having a hard time getting around.

Well I when to the doctors, and said ACL is gone. Both meniscus are torn, and the ligament on inside is sprained. He wants me to do PT first. He said at my age (50) I am probably not going to need the ACL. I guess I'll just have to get one of those Motocross knee braces, for when I'm out sliding around corners. I just can't see myself acting like the other 50 year olds I know. I have to much life left to live. :)
