These pellets are the end all pellet as far as hunting goes. I've got these pellets cruising down range at about 830fps and I've terminated 9 raccoons in the last 3 weeks with 9 of these pellets. All temple shots and the coons were sent back to their maker with 1 shot each. These pellets are capable of sub 2in groups out to 65yds in my testing. And for me, that's as good as I could have expected. At 43gr. and with the accuracy I've experienced shooting these, there is absolutely no better alternative in terms of a hunting pellet.

I posted a while back that we should be seeing lots of pictures of dead raccoons (from you) now that you have a 25 M-rod. But I guess the report is almost as good. Nice job!! 9 down already.....won't be long before the problems are solved.

I didn't know if you guys would view that as morbid or braggy but I will be sure to post one after the next hunt.

@Cynic Better late than never my friend. You are indeed a wise man. In the end, you realize letting them win the battles and small skirmishes doesn't help you win the war, it allows you to prevent one. Trust me, I'm going through the de-wifing process myself as we speak and when I look back, letting her take over woulda been way better than what I'm going thru now...

The real trick is letting them have just enough power to "think" they are in charge.

Got 8 tins of Enjins. My normal tune is about 805 at peak. I toss in a couple of the 43 grin pellets and let'er rip. Got 650 fps. Pretty slow. But it knocked snot out of the board. It is a 12" wide, 2" thick oak. I swear it moves the board a little.

@crusher 8 tins on Ein Jins? You are my kind of guy:) That said, if you're gonna really be using these bad boys, I'd get them going down range at least in the low 700s FPS range unless your doing close up work with them. also, your eyes are not failing you, those 43 grainers DID move the board:D

I'm going to try leaving the rest of the tune right where it is and just go in on the HS and see what happens. Shouldn't take much to get 50 fps out of it. Then when I'm not shooting the "big boys" I can just back the HS out and be ready to go.
I can't wait to lay one of these on one of the annoying tree rats.

I'd like to take one of these, drill it hollowpoint and put a bullet primer in the hole. :) Gee I wonder what that would do?

The WAR valve will push those 43.2 grain Eun Jins at the speeds we were pushing JSB Kings with the stock valves. Mine are currently shooting at 860 FPS. I tried some Kings at that tune and they were still scary accurate.

I'll shoot a few over the chrony next time I go out to shoot. Calculated estimates are 1114 FPS with the Kings at 70 FPE.
