Air leak from the valve exhaust:(

I've changed out all Orings and I'm pretty sure I am good to go with no nicks or dents in the rings yet once the rifle is assembled I still get a leave coming directly out of the valve exhaust. please advise. I can't think of anything else. Soap and water tests revealed no other leaks.

Are you saying it is leaking past the poppet into the chamber?

If so, something is in the way (like debris between the seat and the poppet face), or your seat/valve poppet are not properly mated.

Ray In not familiar with the terminology of the valve interior parts. I know all the parts but not all the names they are given. Can you describe in more detail what you were saying about the poppet being seated improperly? I made sure the valve was assembled exactly as the manual has it. but I think you are on to something because I am 100% sure the orings are in tact and undamaged.

If your hand pumping they will sometimes not seal. I had to hit mine with about 1000 psi before it would seal. It holds indefinitely above the 1000 psi mark.

Ok I'll try filling it up to capacity then. I just didn't want to do so because I was afraid I may cause some type of catastrophic failure in the gun if I kept filling it past where it already was leaking

It is similar to the intake/exhause valves in an internal combustion engine.

poppet - plastic plug like thing that is on a steel valve stem (a thin rod which is hit by the hammer to fire the gun).
valve seat - the ring the face of the poppet presses against to seal the air in the air chamber. Below the valve seat is the flow path for the air to escape from the valve on a shot. From there, the air flows into the transfer port sleeve then into the barrel through the transfer port machined into the barrel.

Debris between the poppet face and the valve seat will cause it to leak.
Any mismatch between those two surfaces can also cause a leak.

You can put a polishing compound on this interface and run the valve stem in your drill or drill press while pulling pressure on the valve body to improve the seal/mate between the poppet face and valve seat. When done, you clean it all up really well then reassemble.

I hand problems with my XS60CPCP sealing. I bought an aftermarket delrin poppet from mountainair.com and polished it this way and it has sealed beautifully ever since. The stock Marauder poppets are better quality. Gen I valves have a ring lip on the valve seat. I don't know if the Gen II vaves do. The XISCO valves don't have one, so the poppet needs more help to seat well.

I had the same, in my case the valvestem was broken. Replaced it and now it shoots again!

Check your valve stem. Mine was broken and replaced it and it shoots again without any leak.
