tunning help

Postby mercurymaurader » Sun Mar 15, 2015 2:13 pm

I bought a .25 cal mrod off a friend that told me he was messing with the settings drunk one night and needless to say its all messed up. I was wondering how I could get it back to stock settings, ive tried to do it myself but I cant get it to shoot hard at all. It feels like it barely has enough power to launch it out of the barrel. Its a genII btw. Any help would be apreciated I was thinking of sending it in but if I can do it myself I would like to do that. Thanks for all the help this forum offers.

Here are some better-than-stock settings:

VMS 5.5 (there is a set screw on top of the actual adjuster screw)
Hammer Throw 2
Hammer Spring preload 6

Make sure the breech o-ring is in place (just inside the barrel where the magazine goes).

I have no clue what was done to the settings so I need them set back to stock so I can go from there. Or is there a way I can get it to those settings with the way it is now all jacked up
