Gen II SynRod .25 ALL STOCK. NO MODS
Small game (what you listed)
Taking RayK advice, I tuned for a higher shot count using something called the NIBLT (New Improved BLT) You can search for it on this forum. 30 good shots at 35 FPE averaging 790fps. I use JSB King 25.4 for this tune.

Larger game
I use a power tune and get 16+ good shots averaging 850fps and around 42 FPE. H&N Baracuda Hunters hit hard and poi is where my JSB King 25.4 hit.

I vary the setting depending on use. My SynRod seems to hold at whatever setting I use. It may wander on yours and some use a type of loctite. I used Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate. I can move the adjustments and they stay.

Both tunes are quiet and backyard friendly.

Hope this helps. Best of luck.

ps Forgot to add, keep good notes while tuning so you can get back to what you want.

Thank you so much for the advise. Definitely appreciate it! I am so excited getting into PCP Air Rifle Hunting and Tuning. Very excited!

Okay, how about changing the stock hammer spring and putting in the 12.5lbs hammer spring with factory settings still in place....Will this have any effect on shot count?

Yes, I would expect good shot count to go way down.

You really need to re-tune if you change any of the parts involved in the shot.

I think I may just stick with the factory setting!

There is nothing wrong with the factory parts, but the factory settings are usually nothing special (actually pretty bad) and almost every Marauder can be improved with just a little tuning which involves shooting pellets over a chrony.

With a little TLC your Marauder can get a very nice shot string.
