When I'm shooting for accuracy, I like a very precise small target that is off my point of impact (maybe just above it), so it does not get destroyed as you shoot. When your POI is the same as your POA, the hole grows as you shoot the group so it gets more difficult to aim precisely for following shots.

I had a target sheet on top of cardboard, and the aim point was well above POI.

Are you shooting indoors or outdoors? There is always some wind outdoors. Indoors at 10 yards, I expect all the pellets to be through the same hole if the guy is accurate.

Outdoors in a relatively sheltered area.

I hope to shoot 10 and 30 yard groups w/o the shroud today, and I am interested to see the results.

@PB_Matrix
The only option to try another scope would be to take the 3-9x Simmons off of my Browning 30-06, and I don't much want to do that. On second thought, I may try it, because I can take it out of the mounts and may not have to re-zero it. We'll see.

After looking at your groups, I don't think you really have any real problems. Unless your gun regulated to plus or minus 10psi, is locked in a shooting vice, each and every pellet is exactly match weighted and sized, there is no wind, the humidity is exactly 50%, ect ect, your groups are pretty tight, even for 10 yards.

as with any suppressed gun , accuracy is at the mercy of the turbulence within the baffling. the more air you can get rid of before reaching the baffles the the better
99% of the time it's the shooter, not the gun.

UPDATE!

I was shooting off the back of my truck with a board across the bed, and it wasn't a very sturdy rest. Not too bad, but not great, either. Slight breeze was at my back, so shouldn't have had any effect. I removed the shroud, but, without tools, I couldn't get the whatchamacallit off of the end of the barrel, so that is how I shot the rifle. Here are the results:

10 yards - still not one hole, but better at .39" overall and .22" ctc

That was enough better to try at 30 yards:

30 yards - .34" ctc

So I tried at 50 yards:

50 yards - 1.16" ctc

This is not where I want to be with this rifle, but it is better than it was and indicates that the shroud is part of the problem, maybe most of the problem. The question now is what to do about it, and here again I am going to have to rely upon the experience of others, as I haven't a clue.

Here's a question, though: why are there no exhaust ports on the shroud?

You need to loosen the rear shroud mount and move it away from the breech block. Leaving the airstripper on should be fine. A visual inspection of the inside of that should be sufficient. ie if you drilled it out there might be a sliver of plastic hanging down.

IMO, I would not chase the shroud yet. The accuracy without it is still mediocre for the 25 cal barrel. ie equivalent to what many see with the 22 cal one.

Maybe it's time to call Crosman. If I had the money, I would grab an Air Arms S510. Then I would know that if I missed what I was aiming at, it wouldn't be the gun.
