I assume the barrels are the same in the gen 1&2, we got two at the same time and gen 1 loves the JSBs with Benjamin domes a very close second. Hope this helps.

the Kodiak/H&N barracuda will give more OOOOOMPH on target but both are extremely accurate at all ranges from my 25. (my back yard range goes only to 78 yards, though)
