Upgrade and Backstock O-Rings

Postby rusty-c » Thu May 22, 2014 2:05 pm

I'd like to tear my .25 Synrod down and replace all of the o-rings as well as put some back for future needs. Wondering if anyone has put together a list of type, size, and quantity to do this job as well as the part numbers from the o-ring store or another vendor. If someone has please share....

Part Number Description Notes Link Alternate
1763-058 O-Ring 1.5mm x 4mm (1763) Barrel o-ring .177 Buna-N 70 Viton 75
1761A023 O-Ring #2-009 (2263) Barrel o-ring .22 Viton V75 Buna-N 90
1761A023 O-Ring #2-009 Gauge o-ring (between gauge and air tube) Viton V75 Buna-N 90
1763-061 O-Ring, 1,5mm x 22.5mm Barrel band o-ring Buna-N 70
JTX-080 O-Ring, 2-113 Baffle o-ring and barrel shroud spacer o-ring BUNA-N 70 Viton 75
397-036 O-Ring, #2-016, BUNA N Rear shroud mount, larger o-ring Buna-N 70 Viton 75
190B-008 O-Ring Rear shroud mount, smaller o-ring
1763-026 O-RING, AS568B-118 Valve body sealing o-ring Buna-N 70 Viton 75
1763-026 O-RING, AS568B-118 Fill adapter o-ring Buna-N 70 Viton 75
1763-026 O-RING, AS568B-118 Gauge adapter block o-ring (inside tube) Buna-N 70 Viton 75

25 uses 010 o-ring for the breech. The one between the rear shroud mount and the receiver will be a little larger, but it really doesn't wear out.

The 118 o-rings that seal the high pressure air tube are the important ones (there are four of them). The one in the breech is also important and can easily be lost or damaged - especially if you accidentally fire with the bolt open.

Reviving an old thread for clarification on the O-ring size of part# "190B-008".

I found a reference to O-ring part# 190B-008 in the parts diagram of the Marauder PCP Pistol (BP2220).

The part # and description was "190B-008 O-Ring 3/8" X 1/2".

Did some checking on "The O-Ring Store" website and found what appears to be the correct part the OP was looking for.

012 N70 Buna-N Nitrile 70 O-ring
Model Number: B70012
O-ring Size: 3/8"ID X 1/2"OD X 1/16"CS
