Beautiful gun! What does a person have to do to install an JDSaiRman block?

I'm not sure about the jds airman adapter. I machined the adapter that I'm using on my rifle from scratch. I made it so that it threads into the end of the airtube. I then shortened the tube and re milled the breech end.

I believe that the jds adapter is held into the airtube the same way that the valve is, with socket head cap screws.

Thank you for the reply. Another ?, how do you fill your gun, foster fitting on the opposite side?

That's correct, there's a foster nipple opposite the gauge on the adapter block.

Looks like 2 3/8"
99% of the time it's the shooter, not the gun.

I believe that's correct, somewhere between 2.25-2.5" diameter. I'll have to check it with the calipers, I don't remember exactly off hand.

Another point on the jds adapter block, I believe it requires a valve on the tank as well. Mine is set up so the tank threads directly to the adapter. If I were wanting g to run the gun regulated the jds lock would be the way to go. Just remember that you will need approximately 1cc of plenum volume/1 FPE you are wanting to achieve. So if you want to shoot regulated at 40 FPE you need at least 40 cc of plenum volume between the adapter and the valve. Not to mention the capacity to flow that much air through the valve.

Nice stick there Ridge!

How quiet is the shot report compared to factory tube set up?

Any "ping?"

Thanks!

I talked with Jdsairman a couple of days ago, 2.25" dia bottle is as large as you can use with his adapter. I was wanting to use the same bottle as you are, could I talk you into making me an adapter like yours?

Now that I have added the war H.E. valve, report is nice and quiet. No ping at all with the bottle set up. I don't have any means to compare the report, but it is quieter now averaging 950fps than it was stock averaging 850fps.

There is more to the bottle kit than just the adapter. The airtube must be shortened, and then re machined for the valve retention screw holes, bolt and hammer channels, etc. I would have to check with my machinist buddy about the adapter. You may pm pakprotector here on the forum. I know he was listing some bottle kits at one time.
