Trigger mod ??

Postby caboose212 » Sun Feb 15, 2015 12:54 pm

Could someone direct me to anyone who could make me a spacer, that would take the place of the Mrod's safety? Or, would anyone have an idea to do it more cheaply? I want to eliminate the safety completely. I don't need it, and would like to try using a normal looking/sized trigger guard.

Lowes carries spacers/bushings in Nylon that you can cut to length.

washers or orings
99% of the time it's the shooter, not the gun.

Nice I appreciate it!! available spacers would sure be cheaper than having a bushing made!

It's been a while since I looked inside the trigger group, but I'm sure the parts wouldn't fit together well with something the width of the safety lever missing. Heck, I may just cut/grind down the safety lever...

I dont remember the safety needing a spacer. I remover the lawyer spring and used a piece of nylon from Lowes cut to length for the pin that the spring was around.

For lawyer spring, I just cut both tines off the lawyer spring with my http://www.toolking.com/sk-hand-tool-18 ... pliers-7in and re-install the remaining coil.

It isn't like I would ever want to re-install that stupid thing.

I'm thinking the trigger group will need a spacer to take the place of the safety, because I'm completely removing it from the trigger group... Is this not the case?

Looking at this picture, I guess I wouldn't need a spacer??

No need for a spacer on the safety.
