I installed one a couple weeks ago. Seems to work well! I'm pretty happy, no ping and cheap too... hard to beat!

I knicked my O ring when putting back together anyone know the size of that O ring so I can go to Home Depot?
Mod works good but air leaked over night.

I did the vinyl tube depinger mod last weekend. It worked great. The youtube bit helped with the install.

Nice to see a fellow sacramenten on here :) I too did the depinger mod. Now all I need to do is wait overnight to make sure the air doesn't leak out. I used a little 90% silicone grease on the o-ring when I replaced the valve. Hopefully that'll help seal the tube.

Which oring? If you mean the one that goes around the fill adapter assy...its size AS568B #118, which is approximately 7/8"id x 3/32"w x 1-1/16th"od .
The actual measurements are .862ID x .103W x 1.068OD.

If you went to Home Depot, you'd have to use plumbing size orings, which go by a different numbering scheme. I'd try a #17 plumbing size,
which is 1-1/16"OD x 7/8"ID x 3/32"W.

harbor freight sells complete o ring sets. Or take the old one to an auto parts store.

Thanks the Auto Parts store had the o rings and they hold air fine. I like the difference the depinger makes for back yard shooting!

You can try to search for it in a home depot or any other hard ware stores. You need to do some works through machines to fit the size exactly. It is easy to install so you just need to know the right size of the pipe.

Has anyone done the vinyl tubing depinger, but instead of rolling it up in a spiral, cut it precisely so the cut ends meet? Essentially it would just be a smaller diameter tube that fits very tightly in the air chamber...the cut ends pushing on each other would provide the pressure on the walls.

I'm thinking this would take up less volume...but would be really hard to remove.
