i made this tray for my .25. i don't really care for the operation of the standard mag and i don't mind loading one at a time. it stays in place by way of two sided tape.

thanks...

I've cycled numerous Beeman Silver Ace pellets thru it so far with no problems...

it feeds smoothly with no problems encountered and is easily loaded.

it did have to be 'fitted', though; the pellet slot has to be relieved to allow for smooth, no-contact operation from the bolt.

not difficult to make...just labor intensive.

Any reason not to use the factory-made single shot tray?

Do they not work as well? I'm about to buy a single-shot tray for my 177 Marauder and don't want to buy one if it's not going to work well. :)

Jason,

I have a .177 MROD and the single shot tray works great. The tray is a nice option when you only want to load single pellets.

i don't know how well the factory tray works; i don't have one.

i have the material, a lathe/mill, the time and wanted one with a side where the pellet would not roll off; i made my own.

Ya did one fine job as well on the tray too. I like the way yours dosen't allow the pellet to roll or fall out of the tray before placeing pellet into the chamber.Thumbs up on this end. I am buying yours when I can for sure!!!!! :D :D

It is always nice to see work from a fellow home machinist. Take a look at mrhollowpoint.com. he has some awesome pellets to be used with a single shot tray.
