Cheap scope

My son was going through the duty free shop at Detroit yesterday and they had 10 really nice bushnel scopes. 6-32 with range finder on the side. They were $270 so he got one.
He knew nothing about it other then it really looked sharp when looking through it even at a dark corner
Got it home and looked it up and it was listed at $1900??
When he told one of his fellow workers what he got he offered him $900 but my son won't sell
He is just sorry he didn't take 3
Someone living near Detroit could score some nice scopes
