I have a .177 G2 with a Lane regulator that is working great. I posted a thread under Marauder Mods describing my setup.
I'm not sure if the .22 valve is the same as on the .177, so maybe someone who knows will chime in.
You didn't mention what problems you were having, so doing that would help get some answers. You might also mention what your goals are for going regulated.
