Teryx Marauder stock is here!

Postby Teryx on Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:39 pm

Guys,
I've got a limited number of these stocks ready to go. I'll have to load the pictures in separate messages because I tried this once in one message and lost the whole thing. Here's a pic of the rifle with my stock. It is a 6061-t6 machined chassis with 6 position buttstock, adjustable grip position, full length piccatinny rail with covers.

Price for the complete stock (minus trigger guard) is $279. Price without the buttstock is $229, shipping (US) is $20

DIY options

Postby Teryx on Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:55 pm

I'm offering the basic unfinished stock chassis to those who want to finish their own and save some money. It comes with a plain aluminum tail block and grip mount with grip. No buttstock, anodize, or rail parts. It does include all the hardware to get a professional result and is completely machined for a drop in fit. The buyer takes responsibility for the outcome of course since I can't control that. I also have DIY wood furniture kits and tube stock kits. The kits are all precision milled and include hardware. They require shaping, and finishing.

Cost for this option is $149 + $20 shipping conus

Postby Teryx on Tue Feb 23, 2010 1:10 pm

I'm going to build a very limited number of custom one off stock based on this platform. Here is one that I'm working on. The customs will be my designs. They will have custom machining, exotic woods amd materials, custom finishes, custom feature. the price will reflect the work. I'm just getting started on this one :D It will have a tubular aluminum stock with instrument grade oregon myrtlewood furniture. The wood is roughed out here.

Great machining job. A couple questions tho. Does the original Marauder trigger guard transfer to the stock , and is there provision for the pressure guage ?

Navigator,
The answer is "yes" to both. The trigger guard fits flush into the stock. The stock comes with new screws since the Crosman stock uses wood screws. The gauge sets just inside the stock bottom.

here is a picture of the trigger guard recess:

Here is an exploded view of the parts:

Hey D., just absolutely beautiful beautiful work. I definately like the machined aluminum look (as I'm sure you probably know why :D ). Great job, I'm sure you'll sell plenty. Steve

That. Looks. Awesome! I'm waiting for my rifle to be shipped (on backorder) but I think I want one of these. I'd just feel silly ordering a stock before I even get my gun, but that is the look I want, blacked out. :D
