does anyone know if there is a drop in LW barrel available for the maurader .22 ......really not wanting to send gun in again for any improvements.....I can make a barrel change myself if I can buy the barrel from someone.

I'm sort of surprised too, that someone like Greg Davis doesn't offer drop in LW barrels for DIY'ers; not that he isn't already swamped. Perhaps for some reason of another they have to be "custom" fit to each rifle? Maybe factory variances won't allow a simple drop in for such a precision piece? I haven't had mine out so I'm not sure what's involved. Steve

If anyone does find a drop-in 22 Marauder barrel (Lothar Walthar or similar quality), please let the rest of us know.

That is the only thing I"m waiting for before I order a 22 Marauder.
