I would just glue a piece of leather over the breech.

Or maybe buy a small rail that attaches to the 11mm rail, machine it to the height and shape you like it then laminate that with leather.

I milled an old scope ring down and epoxied a formed piece of aluminum to it.

OK, here are the 2 x 1/2" 3 slot low risers I bought on EBAY to make the scope high enough to fit my fat head. I have a great sight picture and cheek weld. I know its a little to much, but I have to try it. The scope sits 1 3/4 inch above the barrel shroud and I hope there is enough adjustment in the scope to make up the difference. SORRY that I have not shot before I posted this, but its 10 p.m. and I don't want to piss the neighbors off. lol.

Rayk, I am starting to get the hang of posting photos, so I left you 3 photos above.

I got to shoot today and my Hawke scope just barely had enough adjustment to put the crosshairs on target.
