Yes, we can all have our own goals. For me it is (in the following order)
very high accuracy/consistency
very quiet
high shot count
ease of rifle handling (balance, weight, feel in the hands)
high power
So you can see, high power is the lowest importance for me too. Even my favorite squirrel gun is my 25 M-rod tuned for only 35 FPE, but I get 40 shots per 3100 psi fill within 4% extreme spread - and it is pretty quiet too. When I'm pesting squirrels, I might get 100 shots in an outing and many of these are more than 50 yards distance, so there are misses too. All the dairy owners care about is that the squirrels are dead.
I would prefer a lower fill pressure, but that is what it takes to get lots of shots within a small extreme spread. Obviously, I have made many other valve and gun modifications too.
My other 25 M-rod is tuned for very high power at 70 FPE, but only gets 8 to 16 good shots per fill. That gun is for coyote sized critters so getting higher shot count is not as important as I may only get one or two shots in an outing.
