I am seeing about 100 psi per shot right now on my new and Un-tuned M-rod. I did get it sighted in, and is shooting fairly tight groups. I did get two shots two kills on a couple of "Tangos" (squirrels) today. Shooting at about 40 yards, both fell with a single shot to the shoulder and went clean through using CP hollow points. What I really like is the fact I can hear the pellet impact since this thing is so quiet. Need to sort out the air useage since all I have is a hand pump and it gets old pumping this thing up.

I believe in gun control as long as I am the one controlling it. :)

Received my Mrod .22 earlier this week from Pyramyd Air. First 40 shots started at 2900psi and ended at 1500psi... I'm thinking 35psi/shot... Using Discovery 14.3 hollow point. After reading so much about other's problems with the .22, I've been so worried that mine would give me some problems. So far so good, but still plan to hit the range when it warms up a little more in the next week or so.

ran007 What groups have you achieved at what range? Also what pellets did you use at that range? Thanx just debating on getting a .22 cal marauder. I'd rather get a .22 cal because for what I'll be hunting the .22 is plenty of knockdownpower, the pellets are cheaper, It uses less air, I want to use a hill pump. thanx

The only 40 shots I took were at close to 25 yards. Once I got the scope sighted in after the first 20 shots, the group was about 3" for the last 20 shots. I was not using a table or anything stable. Just me sitting in a lawn chair holding it up and aiming at the target. For now, I'm using Benjamin Discovery 14.3 hollowpoints, which is all I have. I'm looking to settle for a heaver pellet, not sure yet. Lot of people are saying the Crosman 14.3's in the cardboard box are the way to go for accuracy as they are all made from one single uniform cast. That's why they're much more expensive. I'll probably go with those, but would really want to sight and tune the gun to a 20 - 25 grain pellet. I'm looking to shoot 50 - 100 yard shots and get good at it.

I went out again the other day and shot some birds and squirrels. This gun continues to impress me. I took a few squirrels, first at about 60 yards, next at 85 yards, and the last one at about 100 yards. This was with CP's out of the tin. I'm hoping to improve the accuracy even more with a new batch of pellets I just got. Got 5.52mm baracudas, CP's in the box, beeman kodiaks, and some AA pellets. I will try and shoot some groups today and post some pics.

Let us know what shoots best if you can. I'm particularly interested in long range.
