Waiting for the brown truck now!

Postby joshheat25 on Tue Feb 01, 2011 6:52 pm

Just pulled the Trigger on a .22 cal marauder from pyramydair.com they are out of stock and won't be back in stock untill 2/14/2010. I can't wait! Now Off to buy a new scope. I'll be writing a review when it arrives.
Any Tips on Cleaning the marauder when it arrives?

Congrats!! You'll love it! Get some Crosman Premiers....they work well in the M-rod.

How are you going to fill it?

Joshheat - if your baby won't be in until after the 14th, cancel it and go with Amazon - they have it for the same price, as of this second, they have one more in stock and ready to ship. If you are an amazon prime member, 2 day shipping is free, or 3.99 gets it to you overnight. http://www.amazon.com/Crosman-Benjamin-Marauder-Caliber-Pneumatic/dp/B0037UKQKY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296613843&sr=8-1.

I bought mine from Pyramyd Air only because Amazon was sold out at the time. However, Pyramyd Air was good with shipping it to me in a very protected box. Not sure how Amazon will do it. If it's like anything for their Prime members, it shouldn't be bad at all. Welcome!

Thanx ran007 But I got a good deal on everything I bought from pyramyd and they are a good company to deal with.. I bought the package deal with the pump and the pellets. And I also bought 2 magazines and 3 other tins of pellets preadator polymags .. Which I got the one tin of pellets free with that package deal and they counted towards the buy 3 tins of pellets get 4th free. and I used the 10% off coupon which is Pyramyd-NRA. only paid 18 for shipping.. I ended up paying for all of that 609 shipped.. I was going to buy a hill pump but I figured it out and it was only 128 bucks for the benji pump so I decided to go with it. I will probobly end up rebuilding it in the future but it's no big deal... I can't wait till it gets here hopefully by the 18th... thats 16 more days lol

Very nice!
I betcha our two .22's will come from the same mfg batch... If that's the case, the 21.14 Baracuda's will shoot best! No other pellet came close. I didn't try the polymags though. Mine was mfg in Dec 2010, as shown on the barrel.

I'm a huge Amazon shopper/addict and Prime member. But they are awful in terms of shipping air rifles. They do not double box them, but instead, ship right in the box from Crosman ie with the common hole where the bolt handle presses against the top and all those lovely pictures of an air rifle all over it for everyone to see. Unless the price is a lot better than others, I'd stick with vendors who sell stuff like this all the time.

I have to agree about Amazon not doing a good job with airgun shipping. Before the Marauder, I bought a Benjamin Nitro NP and it came in a black plastic bag... That was it. The box looked all beat up inside - horrible. Wasn't impressed with the gun itself, so I returned it and bought the Marauder from Pyramyd. Glad I did.
