.25 valve in a.177

.25 valve in a.177

Hej
Is it an advantage in using a.25 valve in a regulated.177.
I have googled but not founde an answers.Or is it too much for the small caliber,WAR valve is for a.177 has too big a flow.
Experince of the.25 valve in a .177 i would like to hear about,god or bad.

If you are talking a Gen I valve, think the 177/22 valve is preferred because they have a sleeve that can be removed vs reaming the valve to 0.500". The exhaust port needs to be opened to 0.140". If Gen II, no spacer, so all would require reaming.

Look into getting the light weight hammer from Scott (motorhead). Don't know if he ships to Denmark though.

I am talking of gen 1 valve.
I have ordered.177 and.25 valve and valvestems at Targetmaster/NL,at a good Price,i have access to a lathe and a drill press.
My valve now is a.177 modify from what i could Google,but will try to go a Little further and have som fun.

I'd be interested if you receive Gen I valves. Might be more likely if ordered from a European supply. The Gen II valves will fit Gen I guns, so I expect crosman to discontinue the Gen I's. If they haven't already.

I have recieved the valves,the are gen 2,they are the same,the hole in transfer port are .140 on both,the spring in the 177 valve wire thickness is 0.058 od 0.358,the spring in 25 valve is softer wire thickness 0.045 od 0.331 that is it ??,what has i bought ??
