Problem filling my gun?

Postby boosie » Tue Dec 09, 2014 7:35 am

Hi, i just got my first pcp, new gen2 synt marauder (or synrod as you say? :p) from airgundepot today.
I shot one magazine, and then went to fill it up with my 4300psi(300bar) scubatank to about 3000psi,
but when i now open the bleedvalve, all the air from the gun goes out. Am i missing some simple stuff or is it something wrong with my gun? :S

It may just be a simple matter of opening the bleeder as quickly as possible so the pressure de-equalizes and the valve closes. Or you could have a bit of debris in the fill valve of your gun.

Are you opening quickly or slowly? Open quickly to seat the check.
There could be a piece of crud (imagine that) in the check, if so remove the foster and clean the check valve.

point gun down too.
99% of the time it's the shooter, not the gun.

And not "stupid". There are lots of little quirks about these guns. Good on you for coming in and asking for help.
