Hey Rob, Love the blog. If you'd like to add a devasting pellet to your selection, give the Eunjin 16.1 a try. Over 29 fpe at the muzzle. :D The only downside to them, only 220 per tin. Cheers. Steve

I've had my Marauder a couple of weeks now and have shot several brands of pellets. The only ones I have not yet tried are are the crosman premiers, but will as soon as they arrive. So far I have tried these:
- Kodiak extra heavies - Excellent performance. I have shot groups of 5 through the same hole at 20 and 30 yards.
- JSB Exacts (heavy)- Good, but not as good as the Kodiaks.
- Benjamin Discovery 10.5 gr - Good, about the same as the JSBs.
- RWS Super H Points - OK, but not up to any of the above.
- Meisiterkugeln Match - These suck and fly all over the place. Probably too light for the factory tune of this gun.

I have twice ordered Premier heavies only to have the wrong pellets shipped. There's a conspiracy to keep them out of my gun.

I am still testing this .177, however accuracy contest at 25 yards is between the Kodiak Heavy Match and the Crosman Premiers, both light and heavy. Tried rws superdomes. jsb heavies, h&n barracuda match, and h&n rifle match (offhand at 10 meters work great) My tuning is pretty mild...looking for accuracy: 1.5 turns in hammer spring, 6.5 turns in stroke and 2 turns out metering valve.

Hey Lammy, Give the EunJin's a try, I think you'll like them, they definitely shoot the best for me. Cheers. Steve

After firing several rounds it is likely that the settings have changed. Not a big deal, just make sure the hammer stroke hasn't backed out full ccw...this would lead to significant ineffieciency.

Hey Guys, Thought I put together a comparison of overall head size of the pellets I currently have on hand. It's been discussed many times how head size along with some other factors can effect the overall accuracy. Sample size of 25.

Beeman Kodiak Extra Heavy ------11.65 gr------.1765-.1770
Beeman Silver Arrows -------------10.65 gr------.1765-.1775
Benjamin Discovery Hollow Pnt -- 10.50 gr------.1785-.1790

Crosman Premier Hollow Point ----07.90 gr------.1765-.1775
Crosman Premier SuperMatch -----07.90 gr------.1765-.1770
Crosman Premier SuperPoint ------07.90 gr------.1780-.1785
Crosman Premier Ultra Mag ---- 10.50 gr------.1780-.1785

EunJin -----------------------------16.10 gr------.1780-.1785

H&N Barracuda Hunter -------------10.34 gr------.1780-.1785
H&N Barracuda Match --------------10.65 gr------.1770-.1775
H&N Rabbit Magnum II -------------15.74 gr------.1755-.1790

JSB Diabolo Extra -------------------08.40 gr------.1750-.1755
JSB Diabolo Extra Heavy -----------10.20 gr------.1750-.1755

RWS Super H-Point -----------------06.90 gr------.1755-.1765

Just got the Benjamin Discovery Hollow Points in, can't wait to see how they group. Cheers. Steve

Thanks for this info. People will be analyzing this data to further their understanding of what makes their rifle accurate.

What are your experiences with pellet accuracy from your .177 Marauder?

Ditto! Baracuda Match pellets shoot a bit better than CPH's.
