Mrod Stocks Compared

Here are both versions of GenII with a GenI.

Weight:
Gen1: (without trigger guard and sling studs) 54.5oz
Gen2s: 37.5oz (w/bipod pic mount)
Gen2w: 49.5oz

Gen2w is very close in dim as syn version. Slightly thicker around grip. No flex in forgrip and airtube is free-floated to where you see the dollar bill. Same as Syn, but rubber pad can touch airtube.

What would it take to fit a Gen 1 action? Not a bolt-in, but not as much work as starting with a Boyd's blank. Air gauge and mounting hole would need to be filled and re-drilled. Air tube channel would need to be extended back, along with some inletting in back of trigger slot. Could be more, but that is what I can see without actually trying to fit a Gen I action.

Well, that's cool that they free floated the air tube. That's the same as I did with my modified 177 Gen I stock and it is a significant improvement IMH. I will eventually do that to all my Gen I Marauder rifles.
