I heard a nasty rumor that Crosman isn't selling Gen1 parts anymore, is this true?? Other questions if this rumor is true:

1) Any differences between a Gen1 and Gen2 .25 Breech?
2) "..." trigger?

Trigger housings / mounting DIFFERENT between gen 1 & 2
Receiver on gen 1 rifle mount with 3 screws ... gen 2 with 4 ... NOT interchangeable

Mechanically ... SAME trigger.
While the gen 2 had a slightly different position relative to hammer and hammers holding catch is repositioned, it adjusts and feels equal to a gen 1 with like settings.

Trigger blocks Side cover is plastic on gen 2 where metal on gen 1 ... in use no gain/loss
BOTH have lawyer springs and benefit from its removal along with some stone & hone work makes either an excellent trigger IMO.

Why would you need too swap trigger groups ?

I wouldn't really need to, I'm kicking around the idea of building a bottle .30 when the bottle kits become available again. Just seeing what my options are... I like building rifles from parts, considering I change too much of the original rifle to warrant buying a complete one, and modifying it. It's a hair cheaper that way. Sometimes...

You need a mod 1 trigger Assy for a Disco upgrade I have heard. I bought one for my Disco double but it won't quite fit the Boyds stock. Sone sanding ahead I guess.
