It is interesting the sync stock is $60 less, but the rifle is sold at the same price.

Yes, it surprised me that when the wood stock finally came out, it was at the same price as the syn. Now, the better approach would be to drop the synrod price by $60. Which would put it near Mrod1 price.

I contacted Crosman Canada looking for the wood stock and they in turn contacted Crosman USA and it is NOT available yet. Maybe by the end of the year but not yet.

Hmm, I was able to order one. Hasn't come yet, though.

Let us know if it comes through and I will once agian get after the Crosman rep. She said to try again at the end of the year but if you get one I will start bugging her.

I just received a shipping notice from crosman. The only outstanding part on that order is the stock. It should be here next week.

It arrived today.

To me, it has better coloring and grain that is better than Mrod1. It did come with a couple of small dents/dings in the front of the forestock. I'll call crosman and discuss in the AM.

I'll post a comparison, syn to wood in a separate thread. I'll include a pic of my Mrod1 stock with the group, too.

Crosman has issued me a return ticket and will ship another once they see it is in the UPS system. I was concerned about another wait, but they said they have lots in stock now. I will get those pictures and weight before boxing up tonight.
