Marauder Pistol Loose Cocking Lug

Postby airgunenthusiast on Sat Dec 04, 2010 4:26 am

Yesterday I noticed that my Marauder pistol bolt handle operation was not smooth anymore. Cocking the pistol became increasingly difficult to the point that I could no longer cock the pistol nor move the cocking handle. So I unscrewed/removed the barrel shroud along with the 4 small bolts that fasten the breech to the air tube. I found that a loose cocking lug was binding against the air tube which prevented the pistol from being cocked. Tightening the cocking lug corrects the problem. I know of at least one new Marauder pistol owner that had this same problem. So below is a guide to tightening the cocking lug.

With the breech removed I also changed the cocking handle position. I am right handed so I switched the cocking handle position from the right side of the pistol to the left side.

I thought I would pass this information along.
