Yep Ray, That's the one I ordered. I had a bunch of points from PA so I ordered it from them. Tacked on a few tins of pellets to get free freight.

I think I'm going to make a shield for mine, but if its not like the Chrony and I can get the muzzle a more than an inch above the unit then it won't be a problem anyway.

Just the feed back I was looking for Ray... Do you use the laptop connection as well?

No, but it would be nice to have the laptop connection.

I just write them down. I only enter (into a spreadsheet) the strings I'm interested in sharing with others.

Just tested my new Pro Chrono Digital. Chrony can s#@k it.

This Pro Chrono just works. With the Chrony I had to hold the gun perfectly level about an inch off the sensors. Even then it didn't always register. I just shot about 30 rounds through the Pro Chrono, and just about every shot anywhere within the uprights registered. Shiny copper jacketed .177 pellets.

It was impossible target shoot with the Chrony. Basic tuning only at best. With the Pro Chrono I might have to do a little setup to do it safely, but target shooting, setting up a scope, and just checking the accuracy of different pellets should be able to be done at the same time as getting speeds and tuning the gun for power. Something that was completely 100% impossible with my Chrony.

Oh! Yeah! I know some of that may be new toy glow, but the Pro Chrono Digital I received just works. That in and of itself is enough. The shot string managment, high/low/avg/ES calculations done automatically are just gravy.
