O-Ring Size To Reseal Prod

Postby Roger » Sun Feb 21, 2016 12:07 pm

Getting ready to reseal my prod. I know the gauge block and valve is a 113 o-ring and the breach is a 009 I assume the fill adapter is also a 113 o-ring but not for sure, also the gauge port o-ring.

Thanks Roger

There are four 113 O-rings (valve, gauge block(2), fill assy), plus the 009 barrel one. There is an o-ring in the valve, that is smaller than 113, but the size escapes me for the moment.

Ok, I have all the o-rings that I need to reseal my prod except for the o-ring that is inside the valve and can not locate the actual size. I do not want to buy a resale kit and pay way more than I need to! Does anyone know the size of that o-ring in the valve?

Thanks
Roger

I took a quick look at the Prod, 1701P, and 1720T schematics. Size is not listed on Prod or 1701P. On the 1720T it is: "O-RING, 2-111". So, assume it is a 111 size. FWIW: I have not seen a leak from that one to date.

Thanks John, I looked at the schematics also and they just do not identify that o-ring. I will go with the 111 size. You are right may not really need to replace that valve o-ring with a reseal. While in there I just thought I would replace it.

Thanks
