So,
a future project is to make a 2240 PCP pistol for plinking fun. Ordered one from Pyramid Air, along with the steel breech conversion with rear sight and a shoulder stock. PA installed the steel breech for free (normally $25.00) and I thank them for that. I was kind of confused at first when I opened the box and looked at the 2240. It already had a steel breech and I was like WTF? do 2240 come with steel breeches already now? Anyway, once I found the plastic breech parts in the box I understood what happened.
so, installed the rear sight, and was on target at 7 yards with zero adjustments. walked it back to 15 yards and was hitting quarter sized targets more than 50% of time using Crosman domed pellets. I am happy.
Only one small problem was the valve leaked a bit on the first CO2 cartridge, but finally sealed after the second CO2 was installed.
Might have to delay the project if the 2240 keeps shooting this well in stock configuration.
