Hi scrooface sorry I forgot to add it has the deluxe 2stage trigger assembly that the Prod uses. And yes the trigger assembly it comes with is horrible. screwwork I was a bit surprised someone else hadn't started a post. I love the shroud also, it's much more backyard friendly and even quieter than my Prod.

Hi Family Man 811 no idea on energy as of yet no chrony yet. I can tell you that at 45' it punches holes through 3/4" cedar with 10 pumps using 7.9 crosman dome pellets. Groups have been a bit disappointing. It starts out either with a flyer that not even in a 2" target down to a 3/4" ragged hole on targeting 10 shots. Or will start out doing a 1/2" grouping then shooting a couple flyers that totally miss a 2" target. Just never seems consistent. I don't have a big assortment of pellets to try yet, plus I have a couple other barrels on the way that I'm going to be trying.

Well you're off to a fantastic start it looks awesome. I'd try a bunch of pellets first from http://www.pyramydair.com and if you can't figure out a pellet that groups well for yo, I just bought a .22cal reworked barrel from a guy goes by elcam on EBay and it shoots several types of pellets very well her a link to him if need be.

Thanks for the links Family Man 811 your 2240/disco project is very interesting. I'm wondering if crosman might start selling the complete tube under one part number like the 2stage trigger assembly. That would sure make building custom easier lol. But guess that might bump heads with there custom shop. I have a marauder.177 barrel on the way and a LW barrel ordered. I sure have to agree that building these projects are lots of fun. Your 2240/disc project has me thinking on maybe doing .25/disco project myself.

Ok this is a typical grouping that drives me crazy. The rifle has had 600 rounds through it. 200 since it last cleaning. Just seems to me that it should be shooting closer groups. The targets are 2" boxes with 1 1/2" round targets in them shot at 45' 10 pumps.

Ok I had bought a new 21" recrowned barrel from alchemy airwerks. It showed up today so I changed it out and run 30 rounds through it. I noticed right off that the seasoning groups were holding pretty close. Did another 10 shots to sight in the scope. Oh also had ordered some rws 7.0 diablo basic for my walthers nighthawk they also showed up so that gave me more pellets to try . I'm pretty satisfied with my new barrel it showing some good accuracy for only 50 shots.
