The Benjamin Marauder & The Lawyer Spring

I made a short "how-to" video of how to lighten the trigger. The video and procedure is based on a step-by-step process outlined in this blog:

Here is the video I made:

Very nice! These videos take some of the intimidation out of working on our guns for the first time. Thank you!

It took some time to get the nerve, but once I looked at the blog that has a step-by-step, it was easy. And, one of the best mods for lightening the Marauder trigger. I will be adjusting the trigger for an even lighter touch this weekend, as well as tuning for 12 fpe for WFTF use.

Thanks for the blog and video. good stuff. I'd already finished two of my rifles and I have a third that I just cannot get the screws out of the cover plate. Twisted a couple of wrenches. The first two were hard to get off but not impossible. This one is getting me. Any suggestions? Anybody?

I've used a soldering iron to heat screws on other thing's to help free the thread locker but unsure how strong the screws are on the mrod?
Don't get it too hot, just warm. Use caution.

I had one trigger module screw on one of my Mrods that would not budge. I tried two soldering irons but no joy. So I took out the old torch and lit her up. Put the flame to it for about 3 seconds and voilla....it broke free. Heat is your frend when defeating loctite.
