Me again...I watched one of your other videos and forgot to mention something you might find useful/interesting. If you still have the muzzle shipping cap that I believe is typical with marauders, cut the middle out cleanly and it slides down into the shroud band, with a real nice fit to stabilize the barrel. This seems in line with what your needs are and has the advantage of easy removal via the flare/shoulder that remains exposed. Per my testing, I prefer the floating barrel and use this to secure things while transporting or like you said, "leaning against or laying down" It still shoots well with it in permanently but accuracy with my gun improves by a tad with it slid forward to about the fill cap.
