Thanks for showing us your camera set up. I was looking into which casio was better for a while but couldn't really make up my mind. What made you choose the 1000 over the ex100, 200 and other models?

It would be great to hear how the nikon compares in your opinion. One thing i noticed in that review was that the quality of the picture and display have, "taken a step backwards" in this newer model.. unfortunately. I've seen some comparisons between all the casio cameras and it seems the 100 and 200 rank the highest.

I dunno, thats pretty good video for that distance. I just got the exilim400 and haven't played with it much yet. Coupla questions, if you don't mind. What speed did you shoot that video at? Did you use editing software afterwards? And I can't figure out on mine if I can shoot in HD and at hi speed at the same time, can yours?

I tried my iphone, but can't zoom in movie mode, only stills, so it doesn't quite work out.

Just getting started. I'm trying to learn camera in addition to everything else.

I read the same thing and agree to some point. If you watch Teds Holdover I think it's as good as some of his videos as far as quality? I had a host of problems like not getting the scope/camera lined up just right. I'll do better on the rest of my videos.
But the next video will be using the Nikon and it zooms but not externally it's more like a video camera at that point ..

I did like Ted does and shot it at 240fps
I used a quick iMovie edit and that's raw video as I didn't enhance it none..
I'll look to see if I can shoot HD at 240fps? I'm pretty sure you can't ...

On the Nikon AW110 is a no go, I couldn't get it to focus thru the scope and or line up properly because the camera mount wouldn't move low enought for the top mounted lens on the Nikon.. The lack of better manual controls was not helpful.
Wish I had a Sony Nex 5 to try!!
