Well the heavy spring did it for me and I am now able to fill to 3000psi. I was getting 10-12 shots at best before and was hoping to improve with the added pressure however it seems fas or moderate, heck even slow this Disco 23 in tube with the Discover Boss valve will only give 10-12 shots within a 4% extreme spread.. So naturally since that is the case and this D-Rod is destine to be a hunter I tuned for some power. Filling to a heavy 3000psi on my Hill pump gauge with zero preload on my .047 hammer spring and roughly 6 turns clockwise on my striker, using a .165 Ice maker tube transfer port this is what I locked into while shooting CPD 14.3gr

This is obviously shooting pretty quick so accuracy testing to come, will have to re access which pellet flies truest at these higher velocities but pretty happy with it overall, hits like a truck, carries like a dream. I think I will like this rifle, still may try a modded Prod valve instead someday but for now I'm gonna get a few kills under its belt. Here is an updated pic too.

So after a long long wait and debate over what exactly to do with this little project rifle I settled on a tune down to around 20 fpe with JSB 18.1s this reworked barrel'so preferred diet. I wasn't real happy with the look either and put the AR stock on my Prod which made for a delightful little carbine. After reaching out to fellow members both here and on the GTA a fellow enthusiast was willing to part with his Disco stock for the costo of shipping! After receiving the stock I decided to refinish it in a golden oak after some torching to add a little character. I finished with a few coats of Minwax Poly should have used an oil but oh well.

Next I decided to top it with a Hawke Optics HD in 2-7x32mm AO and etched mil dot IR. Most every scope I now own is a side focus but at only 15.5oz the weight is kept down and the front AO is easily operable. The glass is on par with my larger Sidewinder 30 and still more crisp than my Leapers through out the magnification spectrum. I have yet to actually zero it but if it is anything like my other Hawke I am sure to be happy with it. Sitting on BKL high rings allows for the usage of the rear Crosman LPA sight and the green fiber optic front sight atop my TKO muzzle break. However, with the Hawke's ability to focus well below the last distance point of just 15ft combined with the 2x min zoom I am not sure I will need them. here is a link to the Hawke. http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Hawke_Spo ... _Tube/3864

Lastly I settled quickly on a 22fpe tune using JSB 18.1s for 20 shots averaging 743fps while ranging from 720-750-720. This is now being achieved from 2200psi-1200psi with the 23inch custom air tube 3in shorter than stock... a disco gauge block as a de-pinger, a prod gauge and gauge block, factory Prod valve (hence the visible holes in the air tube due to my own error in fitting) a Prod adjustable hammer, .041 spring, and a adjustable Prod end cap. Now a Disco TP slightly opened up, and the same 24inch reworked Crosman barrel..an accurate one. I also replaced the plastic trigger with a nice wide brass trigger, and polished all the contact points. The results were outstanding. She loves several pellets but is married to JSBs 18.1s This set up will allow for fine tuning when I get around to it. As I said this was a scrambled tune to get out shooting and enjoy this rare 60 degree March afternoon in West Central Wisconsin. Hope she shoots straight. Nice work Family Man 811 glad to see it come together. Nice thing about the disco stock is their light weight.
